Arctic Alaska - Dalton Highway Access
The Dalton Highway crosses 2 major mountain ranges, including the lovely subarctic White Mountains and the towering, isolated Arctic Brooks Range and six primary stream channels, including the massive Yukon River and the Wild & Scenic Koyukuk River. When the road emerges from the wild Brooks Range it continues across the vast, sweeping 100 mile-wide caribou, wolf, bear and muskox inhabited Arctic North Slope that connects the northern foot hills of the Brooks Range with the Arctic Ocean.
